Your Hunt

Your Hunt:

The day before your hunt begins you will meet with the farm manager. He will show you the farm boundaries and stand locations. He will show you the entry and exit routes to the stand locations. The farm manager will share with you his knowledge of deer activity and movement. You will be provided with aerial maps of the farm and a weather radio so that you can hunt from the best stand location.

It is likely that you will have an opportunity to hunt several farms during your hunt. This will mean possibly moving your lodging and becoming familiar with other farms. You will be required to sign a liability release and acknowledge the rules and regulations of Whitetail Paradise. This will ensure that everyone will have a quality hunting experience.

You can bring your own climbing tree stand or ground blind, so that you can capitalize on deer movement. There will be no hunting the day before your hunt begins.

The Weather:

The weather is generally mild during late October and November, but it is possible to have an early cold storm with snow. Please bring enough clothes and equipment to adapt to the weather, so that you can maximize your hunting opportunity.

The farm manager may be able to help with tracking and recovery of your deer. Field dressing, trophy care, and meat processing are not included in the price of your hunt, but these services are available locally.
