Welcome to Whitetail Paradise!

We offer some of the best whitetail deer hunting in west central Illinois. Our farms are located in McDonough County, Hancock County, Fulton County, and Knox County. All of these counties are high on the list of Pope and Young entries in the Illinois trophy records. We manage over 800 acres of privately owned land. The property is composed of equal amounts of crop and woodland. The farms are in different locations, so the character of the land varies from mature timber to creek bottoms and thick brush bedding areas. We take only six hunters per week, so the stands never get over hunted.

We practice a strict Quality Deer Management Program. We do not allow gun hunting. We provide for large blocks of deer sanctuary on each farm and there is limited archery hunting on our farms during the Illinois hunting season. We limit hunting to pre-rut and rut archery hunts. The deer on these farms have minimal hunting pressure, which allows them to become home bodies and to reach maturity. There is ample bedding areas, travel cover, as well as year round food plots and planted corn and soybean fields on all our property.

The land on these farms is a mixture of agricultural fields, CRP, mature timber, creek bottoms, and thick brush. We maintain 5% of the land for permanent year round food plots. Food plots consist of clover, alfalfa, standing corn, brassicas, and winter wheat.

Whitetail Paradise offers only semi-guided deer hunts. Lodging is in the form of a four bedroom farm house. All farms can be accessed from this lodge. All hunters will provide for their own meals while hunting at Whitetail Paradise. Food and other supplies can be purchased locally. Restaurants are also nearby.

We spend a lot of time setting up tree stands so as to fully benefit from deer movement. Most of the stands are new loc-on type with steel climbing sticks to access the stands. The stands are located in funnels, travel corridors, inside field corner edges of crop fields and near secluded food plots. We encourage you to bring your own climber and hang your own stand, after checking with the farm manager. All deer stands are accessed from the boundaries of the farms or from the farm house. Loc-on hunting stands are located in travel corridors, deer funnels and on the edges of secluded food plots or agricultural fields. We use only the best stands and metal climbing sticks to access the hunting locations.
